Come and discover a treasure! Emek Tzurim National Park offers a special attraction – anyone can be an archaeologist for a day and try to find real artifacts from ancient Jerusalem soil! A fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
We welcome you to participate in a national project to save valuable artifacts that were buried in Jerusalem. Come find ancient treasures and learn about the history of the city. The finds discovered over the years include King Hezekiah’s seal, an Egyptian amulet from the Pharaonic Period, Babylonian arrow heads, jewelry, mosaic stones, and coins. Make reservations for this amazing archaeological experience and contribute your part to history !
OPERATING HOURS
During the Winter : Sundays to Thursdays: 8 AM to 4 PM (box offices close at 2 PM)
During the Summer : Sundays to Thursdays: 9 AM to 5 PM (box offices close at 3 PM)
Public transportation:
Buses 4, 30, 19, 17, 68, 69, 51, 83, reach the Hebrew University and Mount Scopus, and then 20 mn walk.
Caution! You must walk down a long path with stairs which isn't accessible to baby rollers.
